Courteous staff, clean room, and the location was okay.
Requested a poolside balcony room when I booked this room 4 months in advance, but couldn't get one. I think I should have gotten what I requested.
I liked that it was cheap and the room was decent considering the price. It was convenient for a night.
However, I wouldn't pick Travelodge if my stay was longer than a night. The room was dark and cramped. I didn't care for the bathroom setup. I couldn't feel at leisure. But it was nice enough for a night and the price.
I enjoyed the continental breakfast...the waffles were very good....i also enjoyed the shower...good water pressure! Hair dryer was good! Everyone was very nice!
First off, there was some waste on the toilet! I did not like that there was no conditioner...could have had more channels to watch and there were stains on the comforters. Things could have been wiped down more too! The smell of the hallways was a mix of smoking and dog. I was with two other groups and I wish we could have had rooms by each other....we were on opposite sides of the building.
Smoking in the halls and elevator seeped under the door of the non smoking room that we had
Not worth the price.Wish we would have alittle more for a better motel.
We ended up at this place almost by accident. We actually booked our stay with the Travel Inn near this place, and Travel Inn ended up being a nightmare (room was nasty and we had no towels). So much that we ended up moving to Travelodge the day after. The Travelodge seemed like The Ritz Carlton compared to the Travel Inn, and it was only $45/night (only $9 more than Travel Inn). Friendly staff, the place and our room was clean, they had clean towels, a mini fridge and a microwave in the room, very comfortable place... And they include a free continental breakfast with make your own waffles. Soo worth the extra $9 we had to spend. Also, the building has three levels. The bottom two are your typical motel suites with the entry doors on the outside of the building. When we checked in, the clerk gave me a room on the 3rd floor. My concern was that I didn't want to lug my stuff and my kids all the way up to the 3rd floor, so I asked for a ground floor room. The attendant said he'd be happy to do that, but that his best rooms are actually on the 3rd floor and that it's easy to get to by elevator. When we got to our room, I was so glad that we took the clerk's advice for a 3rd floor room.
Nothing, really. But if I had to be picky, it's that it's set at the end of a row of hotels, and you have to access it by driving through a parking lot of an abandoned restaurant that looks like it should been bulldozed 20 years ago. Other than that, the place is great!
It served it 's purpose. I only slept there and spent days with family and friends during the day. It was very affordable and that's why I chose to stay there. Breakfast was ok but wish rooms would have had a microwave in the rooms and somewhere closer to get ice when needed.
No microwaves or refridgerators and that the only thing for kids to do was swim outside if it wasn't too hot so there wasn't any other reason to stay around the hotel except for sleeping and showering.
I would not select this location again. Seemed deserted and at the end of a road behind a closed restaurant. The facility needed to be kept up better on the outside. If I wasn't going to lose my money for not canceling my reservation, I would have gone to a different hotel in the area. I woe not recommend this location to anybody.
